All Pakistani citizens living in delhi will be sent back to pakistan. Delhi chief Minsiter Rekha Gupta tweeted that the ministry of home affairs of the government of india has cancelled all visas issued to pakistani citizens, except for medical, diplomatic and long-term visas, starting from april 27, 2025. even the existing medical visas will become invaled after april 29, 2025. after that, no new visas will be given to pakistani citizens. the delhi government is strictly making sure these orders are followed. Rekha Gupta said that strict action will be taken against any pakistani citizen who disobeys the centre’s orders. she added that the situation is being closely monitored because it is very serious.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the home ministry has given instructions to cancel SAARC visas for the pakistani citizens. using powers under section 3(1) of the foreigners act, 1946, the government has decided to suspend visa services for pakistanis with the immediate effect. except for medical, long-term (LTV), diplomatic and official visas all valid visas issued to pakistani citizens have been cancelled from april 27, 2025. the order does not apply to long term diplomatic and official visas.
Amit Shah Gave Instructions to all Chief Ministers
Home Minister Amit Shah called all state chief ministers on friday, asking them to ensure that no pakistani citizen stays in india beyond the given deadline. he also directed them identify pakistani citizens living in their states and make sure they are deported. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the home ministry has given instructions to cancel saarc visas for the pakistani citizens. According to the reports, cm rekha gupta said that if any pakistani citizens breaks the rules set by the central government, strict action will be taken against them. she mentioned that the situation is being watched very seriously to ensure full compliance with the orders.
