Ola Electric has launched its new high-range electric scooter, the S1 X+ 5.2kWh, on Monday, April 13. The company has introduced the scooter at a special introductory price of Rs. 1,29,999, which will be available only until April 15, 2026. The new scooter is designed for riders who want longer range and better performance at an affordable price.
The S1 X+ comes with Ola’s advanced 4680 Bharat cell battery technology, which is developed in India. According to the company, this battery offers improved efficiency, longer life, and better riding performance. The scooter delivers a claimed range of 320 km on a single charge, making it one of the longest range electric scooters in its segment. This is also the first time ola has introduced its premium battery technology to a larger number of customers, as its was earlier available only in high-end models.
Features and Range
The new Ola Electric S1 X+ 5.2 kWh offers strong performance and advanced features for daily and long-distance riding. It is powered by an 11 kW mid-drive motor with an integrated MCU, delivering smooth acceleration and efficient performance. The scooter claims an IDC-certified range of 320 km on a single charge and can reach a top speed of 125 km/h. For safety, it comes with a brake-by-wire system and a front disc brake.
Ola Electric has further strengthened its vertical integration model with the launch of the new S1 X+ 5.2 kWh scooter. The company handles battery cell development, battery pack design, and vehicle manufacturing completely in-house, helping it bring new technologies to the market faster. Recently, Ola Electric also announced the successful development of its in-house Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery cells. This marks an important step in the company’s mission to expand electric mobility and build a full-stack energy ecosystem in India. Ola expects strong demand for the new scooter and continues to work on its future growth and technology plans.

Its premium scooter lineup includes the S1 Pro+ in 5.2 kWh and 4 kWh variants, along with the S1 Pro in 4 kWh and 3 kWh options. In the mass-market category, the company sells the new S1 X+ 5.2 kWh and S1 X models with 2, 3, and 4 kWh battery packs. Ola also offers Roadster X+ and Roadster X electric motorcycles in multiple variants. Recently, the company reduced the price of the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh from ₹1,89,999 to ₹1,29,999.
