Recently, union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, that in tamil nadu, there is no law and order are in control of anyone. it is so chaotic. she also targeted the ruling party in tamil nadu where she questioned referring to the sexual harassment case of at anna university student. she questioned whether the accused was a dmk worker. she also asked the dmk what its government has done for tamil nadu. According to the union finance minister, the party in tamil nadu is using the emotional issues to hide the corruption and incompetence. Where she also emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an assurance that no state will face any kind of discrimination and will be fairly treated in the delimitation Process. She clarified that population alone is not the deciding factor for lok sabha seats citing examples of smaller regions like ladakh and lakshdweep. which still have parliamentary representation. on the controversy over the imposition of hindi, she dismissed it as false propaganda.
BJP Protests In Tamil Nadu Against DMK

Bjp accusing chief minister M.K. stalin of compromising the state’s rights in inter-state water disputes. In this protest bjp also targeted karnataka deputy chief minister D.K. Shivakumar over the mekedatu dam issue. meanwhile, karnataka Congress president and deputy chief minister d.k. shivakumar responded to the bjp’s black flag protest. where he said that balck color belongs to lord shani, and i have visited his temple in thirunallar several times. On building a reservoir at mekedatu on the cauvery river, he claimed that this dam will be really beneficial for the tamil nadu more than karnataka.
