Recently, Violence broke out in Murshidabad, west bengal on friday during the protests against the waqf amendment act. three people lost their lives and many others were seriously inured in this violence. As per the details, incidents of arson and vandalism were reported in different parts of the district. following the violence, the home ministry has taken the action. the central government will send crpf and raf teams today to bring the situation under control in the affected areas. The Home Ministry has decided to send 5 companies of he BSF Border security forces to control the situation in murshidabad.
Murshidabad Violence Report Sent to The Home Ministry
In West Bengal over 400 BSF personnel are part of this deployment. so far, around 300 BSF jawans have already been deployed in two of the affected areas from monday, a total of 700 personnel will be stationed to maintain law and order. in the response to the violent situation, BSF has taken the strong action. to disperse the violent crowd without causing injuries, BSF troops fired 20 to 30 rounds into the air using INSAS rifles and pistols, this step was taken to avoid direct confrontation band prevent harm to civilians while controlling the situation, BSF has also recorded video footage from the violence hit areas, which shows that petrol bombs were thrown atthe security forces. these videos will be used for further investigations, and face mapping of the miscreants will be done soon to identify those involves in the violence of murshidabad.
