The administration has appealed to the people to go to a safe place and people living on the banks of the rivers should be cautious, because rivers may be in spate due to heavy rains.

More than average rainfall recorded in these districts

In MP Weather Update, more than average rainfall has been recorded in many districts of Madhya Pradesh, monsoon arrived in Madhya Pradesh on 16th June, since then more than 28 inches of rain has fallen while on average 17.6 inches of water falls. Many districts of Madhya Pradesh, Ashoknagar, Chhatarpur, Morena, Niwari, Tikamgarh and Gwalior have received 50% more rainfall than normal, apart from this, excessive rainfall has been recorded in Tikamgarh and Niwari, while Indore has received the least rainfall so far.
