Mock Drill in India: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, there is continuous tension between Pakistan and India, due to which the government has ordered to conduct mock drills in many states on 7 May, in which citizens and students will be prepared for emergency situations, war sirens will be sounded and training in security techniques will be given.
Home Ministry has given instructions to organize a mock drill for tomorrow on 7 May, as per the order of the Union Home Ministry, mock drills will be conducted in 244 districts, the government has released the list of all the districts where the mock drills will be conducted.

What will happen in the mock drill
Mock Drill in India will be organized on 7 May, in which citizens will be given training, in which students will be given information about self-defense and measures to protect themselves in a situation of limited conflict, apart from this, the process of blackout will be carried out in which blackout practice will be done by cutting off the power supply in an emergency.
Apart from this, telephone and radio links will be tested and people will be trained to not pay attention to rumors by sounding sirens, apart from this, control and shadow rooms will be prepared and plans to take people to a safe place in case of an emergency will be reviewed and the work of the fire brigade and rescue team will be monitored.

During the Mock Drill in India, the government has appealed to the people to maintain peace and not to pay attention to any rumours. Along with this, as per the government’s instructions, people must keep essential items, water, medicines and torches with them and do not panic in case of a power outage. During this time, the network may become weak or power may go off for an indefinite period. At such times, citizens need to keep patience and for latest updates, information can be obtained from radio or official communication channels as mobile services may also be suspended.
