MG4 EV Anxin: MG Motor has launched its electric vehicle, the MG4 EV Anxin, with a semi-solid state battery and a range of 537 kilometers. It features a 70 kWh battery, ideal for safety, cold weather performance, and longevity. It comes with two standard battery options: 43.7 kWh and 53.9 kWh. This EV is also unique because it features semi-solid state battery technology, making it the first vehicle in the world to feature such technology, marking a significant milestone for the EV industry with its launch.
Powerful Battery Technology
The MG4 EV Anxin’s most important feature is its battery. It uses a manganese-based lithium-ion semi-solid state battery from SAIC-backed Suzhou QingTao Power Technology. This battery offers several advantages, including enhanced safety, improved performance, and cold-weather capability. It comes in two standard battery options: a 40.37 kWh and a 53.9 kWh battery pack, which deliver a range of 437 kilometers and 530 kilometers, respectively. It can be charged up to 30% in just 20 minutes. It is powered by a six-in-one integrated electric motor that produces 161 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. It can reach a top speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
Design
MG4 EV Anxin MG4 has been introduced with a very modern design, which has soft lines and evolutionary design, which makes it look very attractive and modern, while some of its parts have also been redesigned, which makes it look even more attractive than before. It has a very bold and aerodynamic look. Its interior also has excellent features, which includes a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 12.8-inch touchscreen is being provided in lower trims, apart from this a 10.25-inch digital instrument display is also provided.

Many attractive and special features have been provided in MG4 EV anxin, in which its main attraction is the semi solid state battery, which makes this EV very special, this feature makes it the world’s first production electric car. It is being provided with a 15.6 inch touch screen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, apart from this, advanced features like ADAS and 360 degree camera and 12 ultrasonic sensors and auto parking facility have also been provided in it. It also has a great feature like navigation on auto pilot. It also has a five star safety rating in Euro NCAP.
Price and Availability
MG4 EV Anxin is one of its top variants which is priced at $102,800 Yuan (approximately ₹12.7 lakh) in China, its base variant is priced at 68,800 Yuan (approximately ₹8.5 lakh). It was showcased in India at the Auto Expo 2023. Although it is currently available for sale in China and no official information has been given about its availability in India, it is expected that it may be introduced in India very soon. The advanced battery technology provided in it was till now limited to luxury cars only, but now with this edition it has been made accessible to the common people as well.
