“Rahul Gandhi’s Concern For Dalits is Selfish” says Mayawati

According to the recent reports, Bahujan Samaj Party BSP Leader Mayawati on Saturday accused the congress party of ignoring other backward classes OBC scheduled castes sc and schedule tribes st, and of having a double standard towards them. She rejected Rahul gandhi’s recent statement where he admitted that congress failed to meet the political exonomic and reservation-related expectations of these communities. Mayawati said this was nothing new and called attitude selfish politics. Through a post o social media platform X, she said congress has always had a sad and unfortunate attitude towards SC/ST communities.

Mayawati Criticized Congress Party by calling the Party Caste-Based Party

Mayawati also criticized the whole congress party, saying its neglect and double standards towards OBC, SC and ST communities forced them to form their own political parties she said his is why the congress party remained out of power in the key states like Uttar Pradesh.

Now, that the party has lost its power, it is suddenly showing the concern for these communities. She called this concern fake ad described as crocodile tears, saying congress has always had the selfish motives also rejected Rahul gandhi’s statement admitting congress’s failure to meet the needs of these communities, saying it is not something new. She added that congress has shown a sad and unfortunate attitude towards sc/st people. Along with the congress, she also attacked the BJP-led NDA, accusing it of following the same double standard and not being truly committed to the welfare of these marginalized groups.

Political Parties Weakened the backward Communities

Mayawati said that all the casteist parties have together weakened the SC, ST and OBC reservation system by finding different excuses. She claimed that these parties have always worked in the similar manner to keep dalits, adivasis and OBCs socially, politically and economically weak and helpless. According to her, these caste-based parties are no different from each other when it comes to suppressing the backward communities. She also stated that under her leadership in uttar Pradesh, the BSP government ensured the security, resect and welfare of the poor people, the oppressed, and people from the bahujan samaj, along with all other sections of the society. Mayawati emphasized that her party works for the upliftment of the marginalized and does not engage in the double standards practiced by the other parties. She said the current political system continues to ignore the real needs of the backward communities.
