Massive fire at a warehouse in Dallupura
A fire broke out suddenly on Sunday at a warehouse storing timber in the Dallupura area of East Delhi. As soon as the information about the fire was received, Delhi Fire Service was immediately informed and relief and rescue teams were sent to the spot.
According to a Delhi Fire Service official, information about the fire was received at around 3:29 pm. After this, 16 fire engines were sent to the spot. As the fire spread to the wooden material stored in the warehouse, fire fighters had to make continuous efforts to control it.
Firefighting operations are currently underway. Firefighters are present at the scene trying to control the fire as well as secure the situation. According to initial information, no one has been reported to be burnt or injured in the incident so far.
