According to the recent reports, the largest car manufacturer company The Maruti Suzuki India is going to set up its new third plant in India. Company’s this step aims to boost up the production capacity of the products. Recently, on monday company has made the announcement about the third plant. As per the details given, The third plant of maruti suzuki company is going to set up in Kharkhoda, Haryana. where the company has invested about rs.7,410 crore for this particular project which is going to start in haryana. Company approved the project on march 26, 2025. According to the reports, the new plant will have an anual production capacity of 2.5 lakh units.

Maruti Suzuki company has also mentioned in a regulatory filing that another plant with the same capacity is currently under the construction. As per the reports, the boards approved the establishment of Maruti Suzuki’s third plant in kharkhoda during its meeting on wednesday. the plant will have the annual production capacity of 2.5 lakh vehicles. the total capacity of the kharkhoda is expected to reach 7.5 lakh units per year. the proposed expansion will be completed by 2029. the company sated that the investments will be financed through internal sources. the main goal of setting up this third plant is to meet the growing marker demand including exports.
