Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the updated Brezza facelift in India on July 23, 2026, according to media reports. The compact SUV, which has been one of the company’s best-selling models, is expected to receive several design, feature, and technology upgrades. Since its launch, the Brezza has sold over 1.4 million units in the Indian market, making it one of the country’s most popular SUVs. With this major update, Maruti Suzuki aims to strengthen the Brezza’s position in the segment. The refreshed model is expected to compete strongly with rivals such as the Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue while offering buyers a more modern driving experience.

The updated Maruti Suzuki Brezza is expected to get a new 6-speed manual gearbox, replacing the current 5-speed unit. The extra gear is likely to improve highway driving by reducing engine stress at higher speeds, making long journeys smoother while also helping improve fuel efficiency. However, the SUV is expected to continue with the same trusted 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine. This engine produces 102 bhp and has been known for its smooth performance and reliability. By combining the familiar engine with a new gearbox, Maruti Suzuki aims to offer a more refined driving experience without changing the powertrain completely.

Features of New Maruti Suzuki Brezza

The updated Maruti Suzuki Brezza is expected to feature a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the current 9-inch display. The new screen is likely to offer sharper graphics and a more modern user experience. Along with this upgrade, the SUV is expected to retain several popular features, including a head-up display (HUD), an electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and wireless smartphone connectivity. These features are expected to continue offering a comfortable, connected, and convenient driving experience while making the refreshed Brezza more appealing to buyers in the compact SUV segment.

One of the biggest drawbacks of CNG cars has been the limited boot space, as the CNG cylinder usually takes up most of the luggage area. With the updated Brezza, Maruti Suzuki is expected to address this issue by placing the CNG cylinder under the vehicle’s floor. This new layout could free up much more space in the boot, making the SUV more practical for everyday use and long trips. Buyers of the CNG variant may be able to carry suitcases, bags, and other luggage without sacrificing storage space, offering a better balance between fuel efficiency and practicality.
