To make this recipe, first, we need to boil the potatoes thoroughly. After that, we will mash the potatoes well with the help of a spoon.
Then we will add the mashed peas to it, followed by red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, and chaat masala.
After this, we will mix everything well. Once mixed, we will boil the chickpeas and keep them aside. Meanwhile, we will shape the mashed potatoes with all the spices into small patties. Then we will fry these patties well in oil. Fry the patties until they are crispy on both sides.
Then we will mash the boiled chickpeas and put them on top. We will also fry some lentil (moong dal or urad dal) papads in oil and crush them on top to make it crunchy and tasty.
