Let us tell you that during Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, a stampede situation occurred at 2:00 am on Tuesday night and due to this many women got injured and started suffocating, who have been admitted to the hospital located in the same fair area. People present there said that due to sudden jostling some people fell on the ground due to which people started running by stepping on each other and a stampede situation occurred.

After the stampede at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been in constant touch with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath. During this, he talked to Yogi Adityanath several times over the phone and got all the information from there and gave instructions to make proper arrangements for the treatment of all the injured. During this, security personnel have also reached the spot and efforts are being made to control the crowd. Now, the crowd has been brought under control to a large extent.

Expressing grief over the incident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I am deeply saddened by this accident in Prayagraj. I express my condolences to the devotees who have lost their family members in this accident and I also wish for the speedy recovery of all the injured. PM Modi said that all local administrations have been instructed to help the victims and I have spoken to Chief Minister Yogi ji and am constantly in touch with the state government.”
