According to the information received, on 20 January, their 4,52,839 insurance agents registered their record in the Guinness World by selling 5,88,107 life insurance policies of LIC in 24 hours. All this has been possible only due to the tireless efforts, hard work and dedication of the life insurance agents, LIC has created a new benchmark by selling so many policies in 1 day.
This record was made on Mad Million Day
LIC Guinness World Record was made on 20 January 2025 on Mad Million Day, on which LIC company’s MD and CEO Siddharth Mohanty appealed to all his insurance agents to sell at least one life policy on this day, after which almost all the insurance agents achieved this target with their tireless efforts.
After this, LIC company’s MD and CEO Siddharth Mohanty has expressed his gratitude to all the insurance agents and customers and all the employees. This was a great effort which has set a new record in the life insurance industry, it shows people’s inclination towards life insurance where life insurance companies provide financial security to their families.
LIC also has a stock in Patanjali Foods
After LIC Guinness World Record is made, the stock of LIC may also rise, apart from this, the life insurance company also has a stake in Patanjali Foods, where LIC has increased its stake in Patanjali Foods on 23 May and bought 2% more shares, now LIC has more than 9% stake in Patanjali Foods.
