Lakshmi Bai Samajik Suraksha Pension Yojana is being run for Bihar, which has been started to improve the economic condition of people living below the poverty line. In this scheme, financial assistance is given to old women and poor women, this scheme is known as Lakshmi Bai Social Security Pension Scheme.
What is Lakshmi Bai Samajik Suraksha Pension Yojana?
This scheme is run by the Bihar State Government in which women living below the poverty line are given financial assistance of ₹ 3600 every year i.e. ₹ 300 per month so that they remain financially self-reliant and their standard of living can improve. The benefit of this scheme is given to poor and widowed women.

Eligibility
- To avail the benefits of Lakshmi Bai Samajik Suraksha Pension Yojana, the applicant must be a resident of Bihar.

- The benefit of this scheme will be given to women living below the poverty line.
- Those women whose family’s annual income is less than ₹60000 will be given the benefit of this scheme.
- The benefit of this scheme is given to women of 18 years or above.
- The benefit of this scheme will be given to BPL card holder women.
