Krishi Unnati Yojana: Many schemes are run by the government for the interests of people of every section of the country, in which many schemes are also run for farmers so that along with increasing the income of farmers, agricultural investment can be promoted. Keeping in mind the interests of the farmers, the central government and the state government implement many schemes, in which now the Chhattisgarh government has also come up with a new scheme keeping in mind the interests of the farmers of its state, which is known as Krishi Unnati Yojana.
This scheme will become effective from Kharif 2025. Under this scheme, farmers will be given information about agricultural technology so that they can earn more profit by increasing the productivity of their crops and can live their life well.

Chhattisgarh government will also give subsidy to farmers in Krishi Unnati Yojana, under which it has been announced to give subsidy to farmers on seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural machinery and technical inputs and for better implementation of this scheme, guidelines have also been given to the collectors, divisional commissioners and cooperative institutions of Chhattisgarh state.
in which they have been clearly told that the life of farmers is based on agriculture and most of the agriculture in the state is based on rain, due to which they are not able to make proper investment and in this regard, farmers will be given subsidy to buy farming equipment.

Eligibility for Krishi Unnati Yojana

- To apply for Krishi Unnati Yojana, farmers are required to register on the Integrated Farmers Portal.
- Those who have bought or sold seeds from the Cooperative Seed Corporation in the Kharif season will get its benefit.
- Those farmers will be eligible for this scheme who have cultivated paddy in the last Kharif season and sold it at the support price in the cooperative societies.
Required documents
To apply for Krishi Unnati Yojana, farmers must have Aadhar card, Kisan card, land records, bank account number, mobile number.
How will the subsidy be available?
Under the Krishi Unnati Yojana, the subsidy will be directly debited into the farmers’ bank accounts. Farmers will be given a subsidy of Rs 15,351 per acre on paddy (common) at the rate of Rs 731 per quintal, up to a maximum of Rs 15,351 per acre, and Rs 711 per quintal on paddy (grade A), up to a maximum of Rs 14,931 per acre.
