New Delhi: The issue of the theft of offerings at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is gaining significant momentum these days. Everyone is now awaiting the SIT report. However, the police have already arrested eight accused individuals in connection with the case, including Tinnu Yadav. Political rhetoric regarding the theft continues, with opposition parties targeting the BJP.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a scathing attack on the BJP government. Addressing a press conference, he alleged large-scale scams involving Ram Mandir offerings and the temple’s construction. Kejriwal claimed that there have been massive irregularities, alleging that up to 40 per cent of the funds involved in the construction were siphoned off through fraud.

Questions Raised Over Appointments to the Trust

The former Delhi CM also raised serious questions regarding the Ram Mandir Trust. He noted that people had expected PM Modi to handpick trustworthy individuals for the Trust and believed the PM would not spare any thieves; however, recent events suggest a conspiracy to shield thieves and dacoits. He alleged that even land-related matters are not being investigated and stated that people have lost faith that any action will be taken in this case.

To Join the Movement with Ram Devotees

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal stated that devotees have vowed not to rest until the thieves are publicly hanged. He emphasised the need for people from all political parties to join this movement, regardless of their party affiliation. However, when asked if he would consult opposition parties on this issue, he clearly stated that he would not approach any political party; instead, he would turn to the devotees of Lord Ram.

Refused to Comment on Rahul Gandhi

When a journalist asked Arvind Kejriwal about the foreign visit of Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, he declined to comment. Responding to the question, he said, “What can I say about him? I take responsibility for my own actions and am doing whatever is within my power.

It is worth noting that political temperatures could soar following Arvind Kejriwal’s statements on a sensitive issue like the Ram Mandir. Reactions from other political parties are also likely to emerge regarding the allegations he has levelled against the government and his warning of a protest.

Kejriwal has visited Ayodhya and offered prayers

Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal visited Ayodhya just a few days ago, where he offered prayers to Ram Lalla and sought blessings. Kejriwal has consistently targeted the BJP; now, he has surprised everyone by announcing a movement.
