Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed preparations for upcoming festivals and the state’s law and order through video conferencing on Thursday. he instructed officials to ensure that this year’s Diwali is celebrated with the spirit of swadeshi Promoting local products. the CM Said that every family makes purchases during the festivals and this time, those purchases should support Indian-made goods. Emphasizing the theme “Swadeshi ho Deepawali”, he added that it is not just a slogan but a collective commitment toward building a self-reliant India and a stronger Uttar Pradesh. The chief Minister directed all seniors’ officers and district administration officials to actively visit the ground and monitor preparations. he praised the efficient handling of major events like Durga puja, mission shakti and Dussehra last month, which strengthened Uttar Pradesh’s positive image. CM Yogi said that the upcoming festivals would again be an opportunity to showcase administrative efficiency and alertness. he instructed officials to launch special drives against anti-social elements and ensure the strictest action against those attempting to disturb law and order in the state.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that during October and November, a series of religious and cultural events will take place across the Uttar Pradesh. these include nark Chaturdashi, Diwali, Goverdhan puja, bhai doo, and the grand festival of Chhath. He emphasized that these are not just festivals but a reflection of the state’s folk traditions and collective spirit. He also highlighted that Ayodhya’s Deepotsav and Kashi’s Dev Deepawali have become global symbol of Uttar Pradesh and India. Every year, lakhs of devotees and tourists visit these celebrations. the chief Minister instructed that traffic, safety and management must be top priorities during these events. he said when millions of lamps light up Ayodhya and Kashi’s ghats shine brightly, it captivates not only the devotees but the entire world-any disruption during such moments is unacceptable.
CM Yogi’s Strict Action
The Chief Minister warned that anti-social elements might try to disturb the festive atmosphere during upcoming fairs and celebrations. he directed that the intelligence networking remains active and the police stay on high alert at all levels. emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy, he said strict action must be taken against anyone disrupting peace and harmony in the state. CM Yogi also instructed that during Diwali, idol immersions be done in ponds instead of rivers to preserve cleanliness. Firecrackers shops should be aways from residential areas, with proper fire safety and licenses ensured and harmful crackers strictly prohibited.
