According to the information received, this helicopter had left from Kedarnath for Gauri Kund with the devotees, in which there were two passengers each from Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra and one passenger each from Uttarakhand and Gujarat.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, SDRF and assistance reached the spot, but this accident was so terrible that no passenger could survive, all the bodies were burnt and it was difficult to identify the bodies, after this, DNA test of the bodies will be done and the bodies will be handed over to the relatives.

He has assured that strict action will be taken against those found guilty in this accident, along with this he has ordered to stop the helicopter journey to Char Dham till Monday and only those pilots will be allowed to fly who have experience of flying in the Himalayan region.

Due to which, after preparing the Panchnama, the bodies were taken to Gaurikund. After this, the bodies will be sent to District Hospital Rudraprayag for post mortem and the DNA test of the bodies will be done and after this they will be handed over to the relatives.

Chardham Yatra closed till Monday

After Kedarnath helicopter crash, Uttarakhand Chief Minister has banned Chardham helicopter services. Now SOP and standard operating rules will be made for helicopter services, in which Commandant Coordination Center will be established in Dehradun, apart from that modern weather forecasting equipment will also be installed, so that such accidents can be avoided in future.
