The ICC Champions Trophy is starting from February 19, which will be hosted by Pakistan. In this, fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah has been ruled out of the Champion Trophy and in his place fast bowler Harshit Rana has been included in Team India. Apart from this, Yashasvi Jaiswal has also been shown the way out of Team India and Varun Chakraborty has been given a chance in his place.

BCCI has informed about Jaspreet Bumrah being excluded from Team India in Champions Trophy, according to BCCI’s information, Jaspreet Bumrah had a problem of lower back pain which was examined and he was sent to National Cricket Academy but his back pain could not be cured, due to which Jaspreet Bumrah has to be kept out of the team and in his place young fast bowler Harshit Rana is being given a chance in the team.
Let us tell you that Bumrah got injured while playing in the Sydney Test match, due to which he was kept out of the team and he has not yet recovered, due to which he is not being given a place in the Champion Trophy.
ICC Champions Trophy is starting from 19 February
ICC Champions Trophy is starting on 19 February and its final will be played on 9 March, for which the team has already been announced. Indian team includes captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, wicketkeeper KL Rahul, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, vice-captain Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Harshit Rana, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakraborty, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj and Shivam Dubey have been kept as reserves.
Yashasvi Jaiswal also dropped from the team
Apart from Jaspreet Bumrah, Yashasvi Jaiswal has also been shown the way out of the team from the Champions Trophy, he was struggling with poor performance for a long time, due to which he was dropped from the team and Varun Chakraborty was included in his place.
Harshit will get a chance in place of Bumrah
Due to injury to Jasprit Bumrah in the Champions Trophy, Harshit Rana, who is a fast bowler, has been included in the Indian team in his place. Harshit Rana also replaced Bumrah in the ODI series and performed well. Now, due to Bumrah not being able to play, Harshit Rana is being given a chance in the team.
Apart from this, Varun Chakraborty has been given the place of Yashasvi Jaiswal and he has been included in the team. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s performance was not good for a long time and Varun Chakraborty performed well in the match being played against England, due to which Varun is being included in the team.
There will be 15 matches between 8 teams
A total of 8 teams are participating in the ICC Champion Trophy in which there will be 15 matches, these teams have been divided into two groups in which Group A has India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh and Group B will have South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan and England. India and Pakistan will play in the same group, this Champion Trophy will be played under the hosting of Pakistan in which all the matches of the Indian team will be held in Dubai.
