Brown sugar is a product made from sugarcane which is very low in calories. It is made in the same way as sugar, but the presence of molasses in brown sugar gives it a slightly brownish color and a caramel-like taste, that is, it contains some traces of molasses or it is made by mixing jaggery with white sugar which is called brown sugar.
