Dahi Sandwich
If you’re also craving something healthy, tasty, and light — but don’t have much time — then in today’s article, we’re going to share with you a quick snack recipe that’s not only delicious but also healthy and satisfying.
This snack is the Tasty Dahi Sandwich (Curd Sandwich), which is super quick to prepare and absolutely flavorful.
This is a sandwich packed not just with curd but also loaded with green vegetables. Along with that, you can also add paneer and cheese. It’s a kind of snack that you can easily pack in your child’s tiffin, enjoy in the evening as a light snack, or have it in the morning for breakfast.
So let’s learn the complete method to make it.

Ingredients
- Fresh bread slices – 6 (white, brown, or multigrain)
- Thick curd (hung curd or Greek yogurt) – 1 cup
- Grated carrot – ½ cup
- Chopped capsicum – ¼ cup
- Chopped onions – ¼ cup
- Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
- Green chili (finely chopped) – 1 (optional)
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Chaat masala – ½ tsp (optional, for tanginess)
- Butter or ghee – for toasting (optional)
Step-by-Step Recipe

First, take a large bowl. Add the curd to it. Using a spoon, whisk it for a bit so that it’s smooth and not too thick.
Now, add your favorite vegetables to the curd.
You can mix in finely chopped carrots, capsicum, onion, green chili, and coriander leaves. Then add salt, pepper, and chaat masala. Mix everything well to prepare a flavorful filling mixture. This will be used to stuff the sandwich.
Now take a slice of bread and spread a generous layer of this prepared mixture over it. Once the mixture is evenly spread, place another bread slice on top. Repeat the same with the remaining slices.
If you’d like, you can also add small cubes of paneer or some cheese into the mixture — this step is optional. Your Dahi Sandwich is now completely ready.
You can enjoy it as it is (cold), or toast it on a tawa (griddle) or in a sandwich maker with a little butter to give it a crispy, warm texture.
