Tesla has launched its new six-seater electric SUV, the Tesla Model Y, in India with a starting price of ₹61.99 lakh. With this launch, the company aims to strengthen its position in the premium electric vehicle market. Tesla said deliveries of the new SUV will begin across India from June 2026. In terms of performance, the Model Y L can travel up to 681 km on a single charge according to the WLTP cycle. The SUV also supports fast charging and can gain enough charge for up to 288 km of driving in just 15 minutes, making it suitable for long-distance travel and daily use.
