Nissan to Export Magnite to 65 Countries
Frank Torres, President of Nissan India Operations, said that India is emerging as one of Nissan’s key global export hubs. With the launch of the left-hand drive (LHD) version of the Magnite, the company will now export the SUV to a total of 65 countries. This development will make India one of the largest export centers for Nissan worldwide.
Previously, Nissan Motor India was exporting the Magnite to only 20 countries. However, with the introduction of the LHD version, the company has expanded its export network to 45 more countries. This move strengthens India’s position as a major production and export hub for Nissan.
This month, Nissan has planned to export 2,000 units of the Magnite LHD to markets in West Asia, North Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, over 5,100 units are set to be shipped to selected Latin American markets, including Mexico. With this expansion, Nissan aims to increase its global reach while leveraging India’s manufacturing capabilities.
