21 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs were thrown out of the Assembly
21 elected MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party were not allowed to enter the Delhi Assembly, after which Aam Aadmi Party MLAs staged a sit-in protest under the leadership of Atishi and in this regard Atishi has also written a letter to President Draupadi Murmu and has sought time to meet her on February 28, she said that Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh have been insulted by removing their photos, apart from this, in her letter, she has also discussed the issue of suspending AAP MLAs from the Assembly and has sought time to meet President Draupadi Murmu.

In the Delhi House, Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan also raised the issue of suspension of AAP MLAs from the Assembly and talked about calling them back to the Assembly, on which he was told in the House that according to the rule book, if the marshals suspend the MLAs, then they have to stay outside the Assembly and he was asked to put his point in the CNG report.

What did Atishi write in the letter to Draupadi Murmu?
Former Chief Minister of Delhi and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Atishi has written a letter to Draupadi Murmu on 27 February in which she said, “Respected President, I want to talk to you on a very sensitive issue which is a direct attack on the democratic values of India. The pictures of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh have been removed from various government offices by the BJP government in Delhi.
This is not only an insult to the brave sons of the country but it is also an insult to the Dalit backward and deprived society. She further wrote that when the Aam Aadmi Party opposed this move as the opposition and tried to raise this issue in the House, the Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta undemocratically suspended 21 MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party for 3 days on 25 February, and when the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs were going to the Delhi Assembly on 27 February, an attempt was made to stop them by heavy barricading.
She wrote in her letter that Preventing the elected representatives from reaching the Vidhan Sabha is the murder of democracy, if the opposition does not go to the Vidhan Sabha then who will raise the issues of the people and this has happened for the first time in the history of India which is a black spot on the democratic history.
He said that efforts are being made to suppress the opposition due to which the voice of the people is also being suppressed, he said that in this matter the MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party want to meet you so that they can raise their voice against this dictatorship, this is not just a matter of Delhi but a crisis on the entire democracy and we hope that you will kindly take immediate cognizance of this and fix a time on 28.2.2025 to meet the MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party.
