  • One cup oil
  • One teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Two large chopped green chillies
  • One finely chopped onion
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • 5 to 6 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
  • Four tomatoes
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • One teaspoon garam masala
  • One teaspoon roasted cumin seeds
  • Half teaspoon turmeric powder
  • One teaspoon roasted black pepper
  • One tablespoon roasted coriander (ground)
  • One tablespoon dry red chilli powder
  • One teaspoon Kasuri methi

  1. First of all, put some oil in a pan and fry the ladyfinger well in it.
  2. Now after this, when the ladyfinger is more than half cooked, take it out and keep it aside in a plate.
  3. Now in the same oil, add some cumin seeds, chopped green chilies, chopped onion and garlic, now cook it till it becomes golden.
  4. Now after this, to prepare its masala, put tomatoes, roasted cumin, coriander, black pepper powder, red chili ginger and all the spices in the mixer and grind it well.
