The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially started the online application process for the recruitment of Specialist Officers (SO) under CRP SPL-XV for the year 2025. A total of 1007 vacancies have been announced across various participating banks. The registration process has begun and will continue until 21st July 2025. How to Apply
Candidates can apply for the IBPS SO 2025 exam by visiting the official IBPS website – www.ibps.in. Registration requires filling in personal, academic, and professional details, uploading scanned documents, and submitting the application fee online.
It’s important to note that the application will be considered complete only after the payment of the prescribed fee. Incomplete or unpaid forms will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Application Fee

- General/OBC candidates: ₹850/-
- SC/ST/PwD candidates: ₹175/-
The payment must be made online using debit/credit cards, internet banking, or UPI.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the IBPS SO 2025 recruitment, candidates must:
- Be a citizen of India
- Be between 20 and 30 years of age as of 1st July 2025 (age relaxation applicable as per rules)
- Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification relevant to the post applied for (e.g., Engineering for IT Officer, Law degree for Law Officer, MBA for Marketing or HR roles, etc.)
Selection Process
The selection will be carried out in three phases:
- Preliminary Examination
