The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially announced recruitment for Airmen under Group Y (Non-Technical) trades for the year 2025. Who Can Apply?

- Age Limit: Candidates must be born between 2 January 2005 and 2 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).
- Educational Qualification:
- For candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (10+2): Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
- For vocational courses with Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT): Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
Recruitment Rally Details

The selection process will be conducted through a recruitment rally at 2 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Station, Race Course, New Delhi. The rally will be held from 3 August to 12 August 2025.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on the following stages:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – Includes a 1.6 km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds, followed by 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats.
- Written Test – Objective-type questions based on English, Reasoning, and General Awareness.
- Adaptability Test – To assess a candidate’s ability to adapt to the Air Force environment.
- Medical Examination – Only shortlisted candidates will undergo medical tests to confirm final eligibility.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official CASB portal: https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The online registration window will remain open till 31 July 2025. Candidates must upload scanned copies of their educational certificates, passport-sized photo, and signature during registration.
