New Delhi: The government is taking significant steps toward women’s safety, with various organisations also actively raising awareness. Major decisions and campaigns are being implemented to honour and ensure the safety of women. The second phase of the women’s safety initiative has now commenced in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
As part of ‘Mission Shakti-5,’ the women’s safety team has been disseminating information at various educational institutions and public places regarding crimes against women, the POCSO Act, cybercrimes and preventive measures, and relevant helpline numbers. The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate shared this significant update via the social media platform ‘X’. Under the directives of the Noida Commissionerate and the supervision of the DCP (Women Safety), the Noida Police’s women’s safety team has been working to raise awareness among female students and women at various educational institutions and public places as part of ‘Mission Shakti-5’ (Phase 2).
During this drive, leaflets providing information on women’s empowerment, crimes against women, cybercrimes and preventive measures, as well as various helpline numbers, were distributed.
