Full Recipe Details

First, we will marinate the paneer with spices. For this, you will need red chili powder, coriander powder, salt (to taste), chaat masala, garam masala, and a little bit of oil. Mix everything well and apply the mixture evenly on the paneer. After this, store it in the fridge for a while.
Next, we will prepare the gravy. To make the gravy, you need onions, ginger, and cashew nuts. Fry all these ingredients together, and then grind them well in a mixer to make a smooth paste.
Now, fry the marinated paneer in oil. In the same oil, fry the prepared gravy paste. Fry the gravy until it starts to separate oil from the mixture. This should take about 10-15 minutes. Then, add the fried paneer into the gravy and cook for a few more minutes until the oil rises to the top.
Once done, sprinkle some kasuri methi on top.Your delicious Dhaba-style Paneer Masala is now ready!
You can enjoy this paneer masala with kulcha, poori, paratha, or even with rice.
