Honda NX500 bike is being given a 471cc liquid cooled parallel twin engine, this engine generates power of 47 bhp at 8600 rpm and gives torque of 43 nm at 6500 rpm, it has a six speed gearbox and slipper assist clutch. It also gives very good mileage, it gives ARAI certified mileage of 27.78 kmpl, whereas in reality it is capable of giving mileage of up to 24.8 kmpl in cities and up to 28 kmpl on highways. It has a 17.5 liter tank, in which on filling the tank it gives you a range of more than 435 kmpl.
Design

The Honda NX500 bike has a very attractive design which is based on the daily crossover theme. It has a slightly larger fairing and new LED headlight and a tall windscreen. It has new cast aluminum Y shaped 5 spoke alloy wheels which have 19 inch front and 17 inch rear wheels. Its side profile has also been made very attractive, it has a floating tail section, split pillion grab rails and updated taillamps. It is available in color options like Grand Prix Red, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Horizon White.

The Honda NX500 features 41mm USD forks and a 5-stage preload-adjustable monoshock suspension, with twin discs (296mm) at the front and a single disc (240mm) at the rear. Overall, its suspension and braking systems are extremely safe and robust.
