Himachal Cloudburst: It is raining heavily in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, in such a situation, the cloudburst has caused huge loss of life and property, after which the rescue team is reaching the spot and helping the people.

Himachal Cloudburst: Himachal Pradesh has been receiving torrential rains since Sunday morning, due to which the lives of people have been completely affected. Due to cloudburst in Himachal’s Chamba and Mandi districts, five bridges in the state have been washed away, including one bridge in Chamba and one vehicle traffic bridge in Mandi and three pedestrian bridges.

There has been a huge loss of life and property in Himachal due to cloudburst, where people were seen evacuating their family members from the debris, while some people were seen taking out the essential items of their house.

Many roads were washed away due to cloudburst and piles of debris were seen everywhere. After the cloudburst incident, the relief and rescue team reached the spot where the rescue team had to go there on foot for help, while relief and rescue work was also affected due to heavy rain.

Electricity and water supply has been completely disrupted

Due to Himachal Cloudburst. People are trying to retrieve their belongings buried under the debris. People are unable to find mobile towers and due to lack of electricity, the mobile battery has been drained out and hence people are unable to communicate. Due to this cloudburst, many people’s houses have been destroyed and many people have gone missing.

There may be rain in the hilly, plain areas, mid-hill and high mountain areas of Himachal Pradesh from 5 to 9 July. According to the information received from IMD, a red alert was issued in Himachal for 6 July. There is a possibility of maximum rain in Himachal on 6 and 7 July, in such a situation the administration has appealed to the people to be cautious.
