Hero MotoCorp announced on Monday that its total sales in November rose by 31% compared to last year, reaching 604,490 units. In the same month last year, the company had sold 459,805 vehicles. The two wheeler maker also reported strong growth in its domestic market. Sales in India increased to 570,520 units up from 439,777 units in November last year. exports also showed a healthy rise. hero MotoCorp shipped 33,970 vehicles overseas in November, compared to 20,028 units exported in the same month last year. this strong performance reflects growing demand for Hero’s two wheelers in both local and international markets.
Strong growth in Sales in November 2024
Royal Enfield also reported strong growth in November, with the total sales rising 22% on-year to 100,670 units. the company had sold 82,257 motorcycles in November 2024. According to a statement released on Monday, domestic sales stood at 90,405 units during the month, showing a healthy 25% increase compared to 72,236 units in the same period last year. Exports also improved slightly, growing by 2% to 10,265 units from 10,021 units last November. the steady rise in both domestic and export sales shows that demand for royal Enfield motorcycles remains strong across markets.
Bajaj Auto, however, reported a mixed performance in November, the company’s domestic two wheeler sales fell slightly by 15 year on year to 202,510 units, compared to 203,611 units sold in november 2024. Despite this small drop in the home market, Bajaj Auto showed strong growth in overall sales. In a statement to the stock exchange on Monday, the pune-based automaker said its total wholesale sales, including exports, rose by 8% to 453,273 units in November. This was higher than the 421,640 vehicles sold during the same month last year, supported mainly by better export performance.

Bajaj Auto said its overall domestic sales, including commercial vehicles, grew by 3% in November to 247,516 units, compared to 240,854 units sold in the same month last year. the company also saw strong growth in exports. Total exports rose by 14% year ro 205,757 vehicles, up ftom 180,786 units in november last year. thanks to better export demand, bajaj auto’s total two wheeler sales, including overseas shipments, increased by 3% to 379,714 units during the month. These figures show that while domestic two wheeler sales were slightly weak exports helped support bajaj auto’s weak, exports helped support bajaj auto’s overall performance.
