As per the Fastag New Rule, if the tag remains blacklisted for more than 60 minutes before reading the tag at the toll plaza or remains blacklisted for 10 minutes after reading the tag, then payment will not be made and the user will have to pay double the toll tax.

Through Fast Tag, users are given a window of up to 70 minutes to improve their status, in this if the Fast Tag is blacklisted and the tag is recharged within 60 minutes of reading or 10 minutes after reading the tag, then its payment is received and normal charges are taken but if the payment is not made, then double the charge is taken from the customer.
