New Delhi: A big question remains as to when the Central Government will transfer the next, i.e. 24th instalment of Rs 2000 under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. It is expected that the Modi government can give a big gift of the instalment amount to the farmers before Diwali. In this instalment also, more than 9 crore farmers will get the benefit of the instalment
. Till now, the Central Government has released 23 instalments of Rs 2000 each under this scheme, which are eagerly awaited for the next one. Before availing the benefit of the next instalment, some important work will have to be done, which will not cause any problem. If the farmers do not pay the upcoming instalment on time, then they will have to face problems. However, the government has not yet said anything officially regarding the date of release of the instalment.
When was the 23rd instalment released?
The 23rd instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was transferred on 20 June 2026. More than 9 crore farmers benefited from this instalment. According to the government report, more than 9.44 crore farmers had received an amount of more than Rs 18,880 directly into their bank accounts.
According to the government, since the launch of the scheme, work has been done to give more than Rs 4.46 lakh crore to the farmers. Now everyone is waiting for the next, i.e., the 24th instalment. Under PM Kisan Yojana, a total assistance of Rs 6000 is provided annually to eligible farmer families.
This money is given in three instalments. The interval of betweench instalment is 4 months. As per the fixed cycle of the scheme, the instalments are transferred in the period of April-July, August-November and December and March.
24th instalment may be available in October
If we understand the pattern of last year, then the money for the 24th instalment will be received in the period from August to November. Therefore, the discussion of the instalment money coming in the month of October is going on rapidly. At present, no official information has been shared by the Agriculture Ministry.
If you want to take advantage of this government scheme, then you can first make e-KYC mandatory. If the government does not get the e-KYC work done, then it will have to face problems. Farmers can also easily check their beneficiary status online. If, for any reason, you do not get this task done, farmers will not be able to avail the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
