EPFO ELI Scheme UAN Activation : For EPFO’s ELI scheme, the central government has extended the deadline to March 15, 2025 for employees to activate UN and link their Aadhaar cards to bank accounts, although even before this, the date for activating UN and linking Aadhaar with bank accounts has been extended by the government several times, this information was given by the Ministry of Labor and Employment on 21 February.
Now those employees who have not activated their UAN for some reason and could not link Aadhaar with their bank account have another chance. Let us know what is the ELI scheme for which the government has extended the deadline to activate UAN
What is ELI Scheme ?
EPFO ELI Scheme UAN Activation has been extended, this is a central government scheme which was started by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in 2024, the objective of starting this scheme is to promote employment and appoint new employees in companies.
This scheme has been divided into three categories, in which under category A, if a company appoints a graduate employee, then a subsidy of ₹ 15000 is given which will be given in three installments, ₹ 3000 is given for 2 years on non-recruitment in category B, in this, employees are appointed to promote employment in the manufacturing sector, in category C, employees are encouraged to work in different industries.
How to activate UAN?
- To EPFO ELI Scheme UAN Activation, you have to visit the official website of EPFO.
- After this you have to click on the link to activate UAN, after clicking on the link.
- Enter all the information like your UAN number, Aadhar number, name, address.
- After this enter your mobile number and click for OTP.
- Now OTP will come on your number and your UAN activation process will be completed.
Why UAN activation is done?
EPFO ELI Scheme UAN Activation has been extended. Through UAN activation, all employees who are availing ELI scheme can easily view and download their PF passbook online. Apart from this, they can also claim to withdraw money online and update all their information from the comfort of their home.
What is UAN?
It is a 12 digit number which is given to all employees, through this you can manage all the information of your PF, apart from this, no matter which company you work in or if you move from one company to another, all employees have the same PF number and their money is deposited in it. By activating UAN, you can see all the information of your PF on your phone at your home.
