18 people confirmed dead
A stampede broke out on platform number 13 and 14 of New Delhi Raliway Station Stampade on Saturday night, after which there was a lot of chaos and while controlling the situation many people lost their lives in this accident. So far 18 people have been reported dead in this accident, the injured and seriously injured are being treated in the hospital.
After the Delhi Railway Station Stampade the government has ordered an inquiry into the accident and the Railway has given Rs 10 lakhs to the families of the deceased and Rs 2.5 lakhs to the seriously injured and Rs 2.5 lakhs to the less injured for treatment.
Kejriwal expressed condolences
Arvind Kejriwal has expressed his grief and condolences to the dead and injured at New Delhi Railway Station Stampade. He has posted on social media in which he has written that the tragic death of the devotees going to Maha Kumbh in the accident at New Delhi Railway Station is extremely sad and painful. May God give peace to their souls. My condolences to all the families who have lost their loved ones in the accident.
Rahul Gandhi targeted BJP
After New Delhi Railway Station stampede, Rahul Gandhi has targeted BJP, he said that this accident shows the failure of the government, due to Maha Kumbh, the crowd is constantly increasing for which the government should have made better arrangements in the stations, but it is the failure of the government that it failed to make this arrangement.
