The Delhi Government, led by Rekha Gupta has ordered officials to respond immediately to letters, phone calls and messages from MPs and MLAs. On friday, the government warned that officials who fail to do so will face disciplinary action. this order comes right after the assembly speaker viijendra gupta raised concern about the irresponsible behavior of some officials just a day earlier.
Delhi Speaker Wrote to Chief Secretary About Officials Ignoring MPs and MLAs
According to the recent reports, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta Written a letter to chief secretary dharmendra highlighting that some officials do not even acknowledge communications from MLAs in the form of communication from MLAs in the form of letters, messages and phone calls. by taking the issue very seriously the chief secretary directed the strict action. A circular issued by the general administration department (GAD) of the delhi government stated that clear guidelines have been set regarding protocols for dealing with the MPs and MLAs.

Strict Action with Orders
In this circular, an order has passed by additional chief secretary naveen kumar chaudhary, where he emphasized that these instructions must be followed strictly. it stated that there should be no situation where MPs and MLAs are forced to complain about the officials ignoring their communication. Failure to follow these orders will lead to disciplinary action, such violations will also be considered in the performance evaluation of the concerned officials.
