On Friday, Union Minister and BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) National President JP Nadda launched the party’s resolution in Delhi. He shared the party’s plans for women, elderly people, widows, differently-abled individuals, and the poor.

Nadda announced that if BJP forms the government in Delhi, women will receive Rs.2,500 per month. The Poor will get Rs.500 subsidy for gas cylinders, and one free cylinder will be provided during Holi and Diwali.

The pension for elderly people aged 60-70 will be increased from Rs.2,000 to Rs.2,500. Widows, the differently-abled and elderly people over 70 will receive Rs.3,000 pension, an increase of Rs.500.

The central Ayushman Scheme will be implemented, benefiting 51 lakh people. The Delhi government will provide an additional Rs.5 lakh health cover, bringing the total health cover to Rs.10 lakh.

The Atal Canteen Scheme will offer nutritious meals for Rs.5 to the poor in Delhi’s slums. The current government’s free electricity, water, and bus services will also continue.

Nadda accuses AAP government of betraying elderly

Nadda has accused the AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) government of betraying the elderly in Delhi. He said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, when 80,000 elderly people in Delhi passed away, the disaster management government did not add new names to the pension list in their place. He also stated that the AAP government has been harassing the poor.

He further mentioned that during the pandemic, people from Purvanchal were also mistreated by the AAP government. They were sent to Anand Vihar station and faced inhumane behavior. Nadda also claimed that during the COVID-19 crisis, Arvind Kejriwal misled Delhi residents, particularly regarding oxygen supplies.

Nadda promised to eliminate corruption from current schemes

Nadda said that the BJP has a proven track record of fulfilling its promises. He added that the people of India and Delhi believe in the phrase, “Modi’s guarantee means a guarantee that will be fulfilled.”

He assured that all welfare schemes in Delhi would continue if the BJP comes to power. These schemes would be strengthened and freed from corruption. Nadda emphasized the BJP’s Focus on poverty alleviation. good governance, women’s empowerment, development, and the upliftment of youth, famers, and the working class. He proudly mentioned that, according to NITI Aayog, 250 million people have risen above poverty line.
