Shivraj Chauhan Targeted Arvind Kejriwal
The date for the Delhi Assembly elections is approaching, and leaders of all parties have intensified their election campaigns. During this time, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also targeted AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal. While campaigning on Sunday, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan used terms like ‘hunter’ and ‘Natwarlal’ for Kejriwal. He also urged Delhi voters not to fall for Kejriwal’s politics of distributing free items.
In his comparison to a ‘hunter,’ Shivraj Chouhan raised the issue of the ‘Sheesh Mahal.’ He mentioned that AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal had taken a vow not to accept any government benefits, yet he went ahead and built a palace. Chouhan also accused Kejriwal of depriving farmers in the national capital of the benefits of central schemes. Speaking at an election rally in Delhi’s Mundka assembly constituency, former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Chouhan likened Kejriwal to a hunter who sets traps for his prey. He warned the people about Kejriwal’s ‘false promises’ and said, “I have come to request you. Don’t fall for the deception of this fraud again. He is a big artist, a Natwarlal.”
Voting for the Delhi Assembly elections will take place on February 5, for all 70 assembly seats. The results will be announced on February 8, determining which party’s leader will sit on the Chief Minister’s chair in Delhi. Before that, no political party wants to leave any stone unturned. On one hand, BJP leaders are attacking the AAP, while on the other hand, the AAP is holding rallies across Delhi to inform people about its plans.
