Congress leader Rahul Gandhi demanded discussion on voter list ,the second session of Parliament has started on Monday, March 10, 2025, in which the opposition was seen debating on many issues in the House, where the Union Education Minister called the Tamil Nadu government dishonest, while Rahul Gandhi demanded a discussion on the voter list in the Lok Sabha.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday demanded a discussion on the irregularities in the voter list. He said that the entire opposition is demanding a discussion on the voter list. In the second session of the Lok Sabha, there was a heated debate between the ruling and opposition parties on many issues, in which a discussion was demanded on the voter list, in which it was said that the entire opposition wants to discuss this issue.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also talked about flaws in the voter list
Apart from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress member Saugata Roy also said that there are some flaws in the voter list and regarding this, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also said that the BJP government is making changes in the voter list and she also accused the Election Commission and said that the Lok Sabha Election Commission works at the behest of the central government and with its help the central government is making irregularities in the BJP voter list.
Rahul Gandhi said that the voter list should be reviewed
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi demanded a discussion on the voter list and said that the voter list should be reviewed and the Election Commission should explain why this mistake happened in the voter list and it should be corrected. If this voter list is not corrected, then how can fair elections be conducted?
MP Kapil Sibal said Election Commission is in the hands of the government

Apart from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal said in this matter that the Election Commission is in the hands of the government. He said that the Election Commission has been in the control of the government for a long time and he said that if democracy continues like this and the Election Commission keeps advocating democracy, then the results that will come are in front of you.
He said that this voting system in which people are not allowed to go out to vote and voter cards are made for people who do not live here, if such a system continues, then this is not democracy but a sham. He said that everyone knows about the way elections are organized and neither the Election Commission nor the Central Government listens to it, but talks are being made about democracy.
