The founder has approached the court following action on social media accounts

Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janata Party, has filed a plea in the Delhi High Court to contest the blocking of the party’s account on the social media platform X. Dipke alleges that his personal Instagram account was also impacted and his backup account was removed.

Cockroach Janata Party, which remains in discussion on social media, is once again in the headlines. This time, the reason is not political comment or online discussion, but action taken on his social media accounts. Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has approached the Delhi High Court. Dipke says that the party’s X account has been blocked. Apart from this, his backup account was also removed from the platform. She also claimed that her personal Instagram account was “compromised,” damaging her online presence.

After the matter came to light, a debate started on social media. Some people are linking it to freedom of expression, while some say that social media platforms also have their own rules and policies, on the basis of which action is taken.

In the petition filed in the Delhi High Court, Deepak has reportedly questioned the decision to block his account. He says that such action, without adequate information or a clear reason, has affected his ability to convey his message to the people.

However, there has been no detailed public response from X as to the basis on which action was taken against the account.

Social media platforms and content moderation are being debated again.

The matter has come to light at a time when there is a continuous debate going on about the role of social media platforms and their decisions. In cases of account suspension or blocking, the question often arises as to on what basis the decision was taken.

One side says that platforms have the right to take action against false information, objectionable content or violation of rules. On the other hand, many people believe that sometimes there is lack of transparency in the action, which leads to controversies.

Abhijeet Dipke says that his party’s account was blocked, backup accounts were removed and this affected his digital access. He claims that this is not just a technical matter, but also a question related to the right to communication.

Some legal experts believe that in such cases, courts look at how the balance is struck between the platform’s policy, the user’s rights and the applicable law. However, each case is different depending on its facts and circumstances.

Meanwhile, discussions about the Cockroach Janata Party have intensified on social media. Many users are expressing their opinions on the entire matter.

Now all eyes are on the court hearing.

At present, everyone’s eyes will be on the proceedings of the Delhi High Court in this CJP matter. The question may arise in court as to why the action was taken on the account and whether the rules were followed properly.

Deepak also said that due to damage to his digital platforms, there has been difficulty in getting his message across to the people. On the other hand, it is also possible that the respective platform may maintain its own policies and security rules.

In today’s era, social media is no longer just a medium of communication. Many groups, organizations, and individuals have become heavily dependent on these platforms for their identity and reach. In such a situation, matters like account blocking often become part of legal and public debate.

Now it remains to be seen what stand the court takes in this matter and whether this controversy starts a new discussion on the accountability of social media platforms and user rights.
