Like every year, this year too, women will be allowed to travel free in up roadways buses for three days. this special facility will start on 8th august at 6 AM and will continue till 10th midnight. In Simple Terms, from 8th to 10th august, all mothers and sisters can travel without buying tickets in UP Roadways buses. this free travel will be available in all buses operated by UPSRTC (Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation) and city bus services. The decision has been taken to help women travel easily to meet their brothers and celebrate Raksha Bandhan without worrying about transport costs. this initiative shows the government’s commitment to supporting women during festivals.

Free Bus Services for the Sisters in UP for 3 Days

A post regarding this announcement was also shared on the social media platform X by the official handle of yogi adityanath office. the post stated that on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, from 8th august at 6 am to 10th august at 12 midnight, mothers and sisters will be allowed free travel in UPSRTC and city bus services. the post also mentioned that a sufficient number of buses should be operated in both the urban and rural areas to avoid any inconvenience. The chief Minister has instructed that there should e no traffic jams in urban areas and that proper patrolling should be done on state highways and other important routes. this initiative ensures smooth and safe travel for women during the festivals. It reflects the government’s efforts to provide better public transport services and make the celebration of Raksha Bandhan more convenient and joyful for women across the state.
