Reports Says, the chief minister Rekha Gupta shared the important details about this decision made for the women in Delhi. she said that the proposal is being sent to the lieutenant governor fir approval soon. she mentioned that a discussion on this matter has already taken place with the LG. to implement this decision, an exemption is being granted under the delhi shops and establishments act, 1954. according to the sections 14, 15 and 16 act of the women are previously not allowed to work from 9 PM to 7AM during the summer and from 8PM to 8Am during winter. however, this restriction is now being changed to allow night shifts. As per chief minister rekha gupta shared that this rule has already implemented in Haryana, telangana, madhya pradesh, tamil nadu and now it is going to implement in the national capital. this step is taken to promote the gender equality. With the certain facilities, women will also be doing the work in the night shifts in delhi now.
