Recently, a Major cloudbursts reported in Kullu’s Pahanala and Kangra’s Chhota in Himachal Pradesh. Where this cloudbursts caused a lot of disruption in the area. According to the recent reports, a huge cloudburst in These regions has Caused a lot of destruction in some of the areas. The weather is not supporting out there where, continuous rainfall is being recorded from last two days. The heavy rainfall has locked 583 roads, including 85 locations on national highways. Reports are suggesting, that almost 2,263 electricity transformers are damaged due to this heavy rainfall. It also leading to major power cuts in the areas.
Houses and Vehicles at risk
Due to this heavy Cloudbursts in the Himachal, the water supply has also disrupted. According to the reports, 279 water supply schemes have been affected. Water shortage in the area becoming problematic for the people. Authorities are working upon all the affected factors in the regions of himachal pradesh right now. Continuous Rainfall for two days seeming like a big challenges for the authorities. They are working to restore roads, water supply and power cuts. But due to the heavy rainfall in the area authorities are facing the challenges. Reports Suggesting, that the cloudburts in the kullu region of himachal pradesh has caused some real destructions in the area. Where flash flood came out and some of the vehicles swept away, and some of the cars buried under the debris. according to the reports, almost 8 vehicles destroyed due to this heavy flash flood. Some of the houses are on the verge to be buried under the debris due to the heavy cloudburst.
Major Landslide in the area caused problems to the people. where several sections of the manali region has been blocked. Reports suggests, that Manali’s four lane highway has also been affected and blocked due to this heavy rainfall in the area. Fallen Debris from the mountains blocked some of the sections and some major roads of Manali. People have been stucked in the middle of the roads where the rescue work is underway to rectify the situation.
As of now, The saturday came with a little relief for the people because the weather seems quite alright. Bringing some of the hopes for the upcoming days in kullu and other regions of Himachal pradesh. According to the reports, the rescue and restoration efforts and work are underway to clear roads and highways. To assure the People’s safety in the region authorities are working upon the things to restore normalcy.
