New Delhi: LPG cylinder prices across the country have remained stable, bringing some relief to customers who were previously concerned about skyrocketing rates. Commercial cylinders are also selling below their peak prices, and domestic LPG cylinder prices remain below the ₹1,000 mark. There was no change in the prices of domestic or commercial cylinders on Tuesday morning. Nevertheless, if you plan to purchase an LPG cylinder, it is advisable to check the city-specific rates first to clear up any confusion.
No Change in Prices
Indian petroleum companies have kept LPG prices unchanged today, September 29. While a marginal increase of ₹9.50 was recorded for the 19 kg commercial cylinder earlier in September, the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has remained stable.

In the national capital, New Delhi, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder is ₹942, while the commercial cylinder is priced at ₹2,747.50. In Mumbai, Maharashtra, a domestic cylinder costs ₹941.50, and a commercial cylinder can be purchased for ₹2,701. In Kolkata, West Bengal, the domestic cylinder is priced at ₹968, and the commercial cylinder is at ₹2,884.
In Bengaluru, Karnataka, the domestic cylinder costs ₹944.50, while the commercial cylinder is priced at ₹2,831. In Vijayawada, the domestic cylinder costs ₹966.50, and the commercial cylinder is priced at ₹2,890. In Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder stands at ₹957.50, while the commercial cylinder is trading at ₹2,916.50. In Cuttack, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder is ₹968.00, and the commercial cylinder is trading at ₹2,885.00.
In Prayagraj, the price of a standard gas cylinder is ₹994.50, and the commercial cylinder is trading at ₹2,885.00. In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, the domestic LPG cylinder is priced at ₹1,010.50, while the commercial cylinder is trading at ₹2,925.50.
Will crude oil prices rise?
It is worth noting that on Monday, Brickwork Ratings issued a serious warning regarding crude oil for the second half of the fiscal year, amidst rising geopolitical tensions in West Asia. According to the report, under the base-case scenario, the average price of Brent crude is likely to range between $95 and $110 per barrel during the second half of FY27.
It is worth noting that the prices of domestic and commercial gas cylinders are revised on the first day of every month. Indian petroleum companies may now revise the prices of domestic and commercial cylinders on October 1, 2026.
