Recently, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradeshh Yogi Adityanath raised the questioned why India lags behind Bangladesh? Despite of having the larger population than bangladesh, India still lags behind in ready-made garment exports. According to the reports, it was a investor conference organized for the establishment of a textile park under the PM Mitra Scheme. Where CM Yogi pointed out that bangladesh, with a population of 16 crore, has made significant progress in garment exports. He asked why india, with such a large population of 140 crore, cannot achieve similar success.

He emphasized the need for India to create globally recognized textile brands. he stressed that india has immense opportunities in the garment sector and should focus on reaching international markets. Conducting the market research and understanding global demand can help indian expand its presence. he urged investors and industry leaders to explore ways to boost garment exports and strengthen india’s position in the global textile market. he also stressed the need to provide direction and opportunities to india’s large workforce. he said that while a vast population requires employment, proper guidance is essential to channel their potential. where he highlighted uttar pradesh’s role as a major consumer market, catering not just to the state but also to neighboring regions like nepal, bihar, bhutan, jharkhand, rajasthan, uttarakhand, and madhya pradesh.

Cm yogi emphasized the importance of establishing comprehensive facilities within the pm mitra textile park, including sewing dyeing, packaging, designing, printing to meet market demands and boost the employment in the sector. he also stated, that under the scheme of yuva udyami vikas abhiyan more than the three lakh young enterpreneurs have registered so far. where more than 30 thousand of youths have received the loan approvals, government also aims to provide the interest-free loans of up t 5lakh to help the young beneficiaries start their own businesses.
