Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM): Bihar government provides training to the youth of its state to provide them employment opportunities in which various types of skills are taught to the youth. This scheme is also known as “Kushal Yuva Karyakram”. By taking advantage of this scheme, the youth can get employment opportunities for themselves and can increase their potential in employment.
What is this scheme?
Bihar Skill Development Mission is a scheme run by the Bihar government, in which youth between 15 and 28 years are given the benefit, under this, youth are given the opportunity to participate in skill development training programs. This scheme was started on 16 December 2016, for which online application can be made. The youth applying in this are given soft skills and they are also given training in life skills, communication skills and basic computer.
Objective of the scheme
The main objective of Bihar Skill Development Mission is to prepare unemployed youths living in the state of Bihar for employment so that their employment potential can increase and they can become self-reliant and live their lives in a good way. In this, those youths between 15 and 28 years who have passed 10th or 12th or are not currently studying and are looking for some employment are mainly given benefits under this scheme.
Benefits of the scheme
Under Bihar Skill Development Mission, free training is given to the youth of Bihar state. Apart from this, life skills, communication skills and basic computer literacy programs have been included in this scheme, in which all these courses will be covered in 240 hours, out of which 40 hours will be given in life skills, 80 hours in communication skills and 120 hours in basic computer literacy. By taking advantage of this scheme, the youth of Bihar will be able to get employment opportunities for themselves.
Application fee has to be paid
To apply in Bihar Skill Development Mission, youth have to deposit security of ₹ 1000, after completion of the course duration, this fee is sent to your account within a month.

- After going here, a home page will open in front of you in which you will have to click on the link of Skilled Youth Program.
- Here you open its application form by clicking on the link of Apply.
- Now fill all your necessary information in it and upload all your necessary documents in it.
- Now re-check your form and submit it by clicking on the submit button.
- Now your registration in this scheme is complete.
