Bihar Yuva Aayog: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a cabinet meeting at the Secretariat in Patna today. All the senior ministers were present in this cabinet, in which many important decisions were taken. Among these decisions, a decision was also taken to form a youth commission in Bihar.
CM Nitish Kumar gave this information on social media. He said that the youth commission is being formed to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth of Bihar and to make them empowered and capable.
What is Bihar Yuva Aayog Yojana?
After his cabinet meeting, CM Nitish Kumar has approved the formation of Bihar Yuva Aayog Yojana in Bihar. This scheme is being run keeping in mind the interests of the youth. This decision has been taken on 8 July 2025. This scheme will provide employment opportunities to the youth in Bihar, in this scheme efforts will be made to train and empower them so that in future they get more and more employment opportunities and the condition of the youth in the state improves.
Objective of the scheme
The objective of the Bihar Yuva Aayog scheme is to make the youth of Bihar self-reliant and to make them strong and capable, so that they can get their own employment and their future is secure and this will improve the condition of the youth and lead to their upliftment.
Along with this, the condition of the state will improve. In this scheme, the members of the Youth Commission will be able to give advice to the government regarding employment of the youth, so that the government department will also make efforts to ensure better education and employment to the youth.
Members of the youth commission and their functions
The Bihar Yuva Aayog will consist of one chairman, two vice-chairmen and seven members. The maximum age limit of these members has been fixed at 45 years. The commission’s function will be to ensure that the local youths of the state get private sector jobs within the state itself.
along with this the interests of the youths studying and working outside are also protected. The commission will have to prepare new programs for the prevention of alcohol and other drugs in the society and send recommendations to the government.
Benefits to the youth
Bihar Yuva Aayog will benefit the youth of Bihar state. Now they will get new employment opportunities in their state itself. Along with this, they will also be trained to get employment so that they become empowered and capable. Apart from this, the interests of those youth who are studying or working outside will also be protected.
Now the Youth Commission will play an important role in advising the government on all matters related to employment of youth and improvement in their condition and will ensure that every youth gets better education and employment.
