On September 12, banks in Assam will remain completely closed to observe the Tirubhav Tithi (death anniversary) of Srimanta Sankardev. On September 14, banks will be closed in Maharashtra, Odisha, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Telangana, Goa, and Andhra Pradesh for Ganesh Chaturthi/Vinayak Chaturthi/Ganesh Puja.
